Fireworks Display at Alexandra Palace
7 November 2009
It might seem somewhat surprising that a building that suffered greatly in two destructive fires should be known as a venue for some of the biggest fireworks displays in the capital, but every year Alexandra Palace stages a fantastic display to mark the demise of Guy Fawkes. A host of attractions keep the whole family entertained throughout the evening, including a German bier festival and London's finest Oompah band.
